POLICIES


COVID 19 UPDATE: Due to New York State mandate, we are only offering in person private sessions. All studio clients are required to pass a mandatory prescreen to attend in person or will otherwise have the option of a virtual session.

SPECIFIC BLUMING STUDIO COVID19  PROTOCOLS

1.  Face Coverings (Masks) will be required from both client and instructor at all times. Both nose and mouth must be covered. Bandanas and neck gators are not acceptable.

2.  Pilates Equipment and studio props will not be shared during sessions without proper cleaning and sanitation. 

3.  Sessions will be limited to 50 minutes to allow for thorough cleaning and sanitation of all equipment and props as well as limit the number of people in the studio at the same time. 

4.  Clients will be asked to wait outside and will not be allowed inside until session start time and are encouraged to come dressed for session. 

5.  Clients will be asked to exit studio following session. 

6.  Clients must pass a pre-screening prior to every session per NYS Forward mandate. A link to form will be provided in every appointment reminder and a QR code with link is posted outside the studio: https://forms.gle/4tNfHdG6NSPmMhUW9

7.  Only Private Pilates sessions will be offered and supervised open practice will be limited to 2 people confined to one piece of equipment. Group classes are on hold until further notice.

 8. Studio traffic will be limited to no more than 2 sessions per room at any time.

9.  Clients will be asked to wash hands upon entering the studio. Hand sanitizer will also be readily available. 

10.  Staff members will be required to wash hands upon entering the studio and in between client sessions. 

11. Clients must bring or purchase their own props and bring their own water bottles and socks..

GENERAL POLICIES

Prenatal clients: All Bluming Studio teachers are qualified to teach prenatal students. To get the greatest benefit from prenatal fitness, we highly recommend starting any new fitness regimen before conceiving.

Session Appointments: All sessions and classes are 1 hour and by appointment only. We offer standing appointments as a convenience. Credit card number required to reserve your first appointment.

Duet and Semi-private Pilates: We are not responsible for providing partners and encourage you to find a buddy and sign up together! If you do not have a partner, let us know and we will do our best to match you up with someone who is looking.

Classes: It is recommended that all class students have some Pilates equipment experience. Maximum four students per class. All classes are 60 minutes in length, unless there is only one student in attendance, in which case the class will be 30 minutes long. Pre-registration is recommended, as there is limited space in each class.

Cancellation Policy: 24 hour cancellation is required to avoid full session charge for all sessions and classes. Please make sure to prescreen before the 24 hour cancelation window if you do not want the virtual alternate. Our teachers are paid on a per person basis and therefore must be compensated for their time commitment to scheduled sessions. We thank you for understanding this policy.

Expiration dates: All packages have expiration dates and are subject to a 10% renewal fee.

Payment: We accept cash, checks, Visa and MasterCard. If paying per session, a deposit of one session is required to hold standing appointment.

Tax: Prices do not include 4.5% sales tax. No refunds on purchases.
